Japan’s Way Japan’s Way is atranslation and interpreting agency built on the intention to connect Italy with East Asia. Founded in 2007, it offers the advice and support towards building new business relationships, managing and strengthening existing ones and, more broadly, satisfying all communication needs between partners in Italy and the Orient.
Our mission is to offer our clients “bespoke” services, developed around translation, interpreting, and every form of assistance in communications.
Since it was founded, Japan’s Way has been chosen by high-profile clients for creating diversified projects, in which it guarantees quality, precision, and a strict conformity to NDAs. This also includes: linguistic support for Mergers and Acquisitions or during the installation and testing of new industrial production lines; technical training in the creation of APAC business networks for high-fashion brands; translations of technical charts and patents for entrepreneurial projects; interpreting during corporate audit and quality control visits.
All our services can be offered singularly or combined, in order to satisfy specific requests or unexpected needs with the objective of guaranteeing a stable and ongoing support in managing relationships between Italy and East Asia.
Our translation services offer an added-value, thanks to our in-depth knowledge of the Asian culture – Japanese, Chinese. Our main areas of specialization include: commercial, technical, patent, legal, medical-scientific, tourism, food and wine, fashion, cosmetics, and luxury.
Every translation is handled by bilingual translators who are highly specialized in the related fields, in order to always guarantee accurate and pertinent translations.
Our interpreters are highly-specialized, native speakers, assigned to specific projects according to their expertise: we offer our interpreting service for business negotiations, production lines, company audits and quality and safety controls, trade fairs, conferences, international trade missions, and promotions. We also offer telephone or videoconference interpreting services, simultaneous interpreting in sound-proof booths or with the bidule system, as well as chuchotage .
Valeria has a MA in Japanese Language and Literature from the University of Naples “L’Orientale”, with a specialization degree from “Gakushuin University” in Tokyo.
Japanese translator and interpreter, as well as being a certified translator for the Naples Chamber of Commerce, – Valeria has worked as a bridge between Italy and Japan for over 15 years. In 2007, she founded Japan’s Way, and has been managing and coordinating a team of translators and interpreters ever since. She is the Italian language and market representative for important Japanese agencies covering translations for well-known cosmetics, fashion, and pharmaceutical brands.
In 2016, she opened a restaurant, “Valeria”, in the elegant neighborhood of Kagurazaka in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
Founder and Partner
Salvatore has a Degree in Law from the “Federico II” University of Naples and executive MBA from the “MIP Politecnico” of Milan.
Besides being a lawyer, DPO, legal advisor, and board member member of several companies and labor unions, in Japan’s Way, Salvatore provides consultations for corporate internationalization processes and import–export projects.
